Vertical Battery Cage Rearing System for Brooders 0-5 Weeks

The innovation behind the 0-5 week brooder rearing system was to cut down on building costs (building is 50% smaller) and also to eliminate heating and ventilation costs due to a much smaller volume. The efficient brooder unit supplies two cycles of grower houses 6-18weeks (no heating required).

Feeding, Drinking, Egg and Manure Handling

Feeding options (internal link): Fully automatic travelling hoppers or automatic chain feeding.

Drinking options: LUBING nipples with drip cups and optional float cup until birds adapt. Header tanks or pressure regulators with flushing facility.

Manure removal (internal link): Polypropylene belting is used to transport manure smoothly to the row ends, depositing into 200mm trough and is augured out of the building onto an incline conveyor for easy loading. Auger trough has tapered fall for ease of cleaning.
